James Byron Dean (8 February 1931 - 30 September 1955) was an american film actor best known for performance in the hit movie Rebel Without a Cause in 1955, then following that up with East of Eden in the same year then onto Giant the following year. Only appearing in these three movies, all as starring roles, he suffered a premature death in a car accident which cemented forever, his legendary status.
