Levis
1873 San Francisco, the year and place Levis Strauss began. Levis are famous for creating the world’s first pair of blue jeans and have never looked back since. The Levis brand encapsulates American style throughout their collections and is now one of the most if not thee most recognised denim label in the world sold to over 110 countries. The jeans all have a symbolic stitch on the back pockets which Levis says symbolises an American eagle. Levis have been a market leader in innovation continuing to develop their jeans. In the 1920’s Levis sold to the working people cowboys, lumberjacks and railroad workers but in the sixties saw Levis became popular amongst the youth subcultures hippies, skinheads and mods. Innovation has meant that Levis have created a number different washes including the stone wash denim and a variety of cuts expanded past their straight leg 501 ranges to bootcut, taper, slim. The range now includes a full collection from shirts, tees, vests and accessories which are in keep with Levis recognised style.
