Lavenham Clothing: Combining English Heritage & Tradition with Style and Luxurious Craftsmanship
Deriving its name from the small medieval village in Suffolk, the brand Lavenham has buried its roots in Suffolk since 1969 combining English heritage and tradition with style and luxurious craftsmanship. The brand are renowned for their quilted nylons and waxed cottons, and pride themselves on two vital components; Quality and Durability. The Lavenham brand was founded in 1969, making the first nylon quilted horse rug, closely followed by matching quilted jackets and waistcoats in 1972 for the esteemed and affluent rider and country-phile. This has landed Lavenham a desirable following from equestrians to a more recently acclaimed fashion forward crowd.
All collections are designed in house to ensure fluency and consistency in design and delivery. Lavenham are proud to boast a traditional English background, using sourced British materials and a British design team, offering the idea of an affluent, luxurious British lifestyle to the customer. This stamp of British quality and classically English design have made Lavenham a highly covetable brand. The brand has become popular across the globe, exporting to the likes of Japan and Italy and thus claiming two Queens awards for International Trade.
For Autumn/Winter 11 Lavenham have delved deep into their archives and produced classic designs with a new twist, for example experimentation with colours and fabrics and our favourite here at Seasons from the AW11 collection has to be the Southwold which is available in a range of colours.
